From 2001 to 2006, I was working within the European Communications Research of Motorola in Paris (France). I was the Technical Manager of the End-to-End Reconfigurability (E2R) Project, European research project coordinated by Motorola.

In 2006, I joined T-Mobile International (Deutsche Telekom) as a project manager in the Mobile Messaging area in Vienna then relocated to T-Mobile's Headquarters in Bonn in November 2007 and joined the Project Management division as a Senior International Project Manager at start then as an International Program Manager in January 2009. In November 2009, I joined the "International Businesses" division of Deutsche Telekom as a Senior International Partnership Development Manager. I'm currently looking for new growth segments for T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom.

Meanwhile, in September 2008, I started the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA program jointly offered by the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (USA) and the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany). I'll graduate in October 2010.

  • Identifying and executing strategic partnerships and international projects that create new growth segments for T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom.

International Program Manager, November 2007 - October 2009 (Bonn, Germany)

  • Managed cross-functional project/program teams of 30+ managers, designers, developers and technicians located in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
  • Planned, coordinated and controlled Top20 Product Development projects/programs in strong collaboration with marketing, external vendors and the technology organizations of T-Mobile in Europe.
  • Supported the management of the Community 1.0 project part of the Connected Life and Work (CLW) program, and managed the technical deliveries of Austria, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
  • Responsible for project scope and budget (over 3 MEuro), requirement gathering, gap analysis, end-to-end design, development, testing and deployment of Mobile IM product in Germany, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.

  • Managed service implementation projects related to the Mobile Instant Messaging (Mobile IM)/Super SMS business across T-Mobile entities in Germany, UK and Austria
  • Supported the program management of different projects related to the Mobile Instant Messaging, and managed the technical inter-working activities between T-Mobile International and Vodafone Group.
  • Led the mobile messaging design team located in Austria, Germany and Czech Republic in a cross-functional project related to Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) opportunities in Europe.
  • Maintained a solid understanding of the entire technology landscape and identifying relevant trends, especially in the field of mobile messaging (SMS, Mobile IM, MMS, Email, and Voice Messaging).

Motorola
Technical Manager, September 2001 - April 2006 (Paris, France)

  • Managed "End-to-End Reconfigurability" (E2R) collaborative project (16.9 MEuro, 55 person-years/year) of the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission (EC), interfacing on a daily basis with the consortium (28 partners across 10 countries in Europe and Asia).
  • Provided overall technical coordination, ensured on-time delivery of deliverables to EC and drove coherent technical perspectives and liaison activities across the workpackages of such multi-disciplinary research project.
  • Defined business opportunities and actively contributed to the strategy identification for reconfigurability, by the development of interactions within Motorola and the implementation of standardization and regulation plans.
  • Designed and specified a web-based project management platform enabling financial and technical monitoring and reporting as well as information sharing for multi-site and multi-partner collaborative project.
  • Contributed to the initial scoping and requirements identification for multicast device management solutions for Motorola, and analyzed point-to-point device management mechanisms.
  • Defined and developed a service architectural framework in Beyond 3G (B3G) environment and implemented new concepts related to service management on Motorola B3G demonstration testbed (GPRS, WLAN, DVB-T).
  • Led the multi-site and multi-partner development of the Monasidre (European project) telecommunications platform, and contributed to the conception and UML-based design of the platform.
