Photos taken during the visit of the Casa Mila in the district of the Eixample in Barcelona. This building from Antoni Gaudi is great! Owing to the way its facade appears to be carved out of rock, the Casa Mila was nicknamed "La Pedrera", which means stone quarry. The amazing array of architectural-sculptural elements located on the terrace is formed by staircases, ventilation towers and chimneys. Some of them are covered with broken pieces of ceramic (trencadis). An exhibition is dedicated to Gaudi's work and includes the visit of an appartment.
